Boise Creek captures a drainage area of approximately 57.7 square kilometres.

 

The project design flow of 13.5 cumecs would produce approximately 86,000 MWh of green energy per annum. The project consists of an intake at 353m which feeds a 3,368m penstock, with 292m of head delivering enough water pressure to drive a 30 MW plant capacity.
