Bucklin Creek captures a drainage area of approximately 31.5 square kilometres. The project design flow of 8.3 cumecs would produce approximately 107,000 MWh of green energy per annum.

 

The project consists of an intake at 733m which feeds a 4,324m penstock with 563m of head delivering enough water pressure to drive a 38 MW plant capacity.
