This project captures the flow of both Corbold Creek and ZZ Creek which represents a drainage area of approximately 89.9 square kilometers.
The project design incorporates intake structures on both Corbold Creek and ZZ Creek located at 282m and 660m respectively with 11.0 cumecs of water running through 3,165m of penstock from Corbold Creek and 3.3 cumecs flowing through 5,700m of penstock from ZZ Creek. Total head of 242m at Corbold and 620m at ZZ will create enough water pressure to drive two 15 MW generators or 137,000 MWh's of energy per annum. |
