Pinecone Creek captures a drainage area of approximately 21.9 square kilometres. The project design flow of 5.7 cumecs would produce approximately 88,000 MWh of green energy per annum.

 

The project consists of an intake at 785m which feeds a 3,478m penstock, with 655m of head delivering enough water pressure to drive a 29 MW plant capacity.
