Run of River Power Inc. is a Vancouver based independent producer of clean, environmentally friendly, renewable energy.  The Corporation's officesare located at Suite 202 - 4882 Delta Street, Delta, BC, V4K 2T8.

There are 61,852,207 common shares outstanding in the Corporation currently offered on the TSXV: ROR.
The Corporation is in a period of growth in response to the tremendous need for electricity in British Columbia, North America and abroad.  British Columbia currently imports in excess of 15% of its annual energy needs from other parts of Canada or from the United States.  The Government of British Columbia has indicated a desire to bring the province back to energy self-sufficiency and is encouraging Independent Power Producers to develop "green" sources of domestic energy production.

"Run of River" power refers to the type of power the Corporation is primarily involved in developing; hydro-electric energy created when water is diverted from a stream through pipe to spin a turbine, which creates electricity. The water is then re-directed back onto the river further downstream. Rivers such as those found in the mountains of B.C. tend to be steep, narrow, fast flowing rivers where small turbines spin very quickly to make power.

Run of River Power Inc. has identified several key geographic locations, relatively close to the city of Vancouver, where the greatest demand for power in the province occurs. Through investigation and acquisition, the Corporation has secured the rights to develop 12 sites representing in excess of 229 MW of estimated capacity when developed or enough electricity to service approximately 103,000 homes annually.

Run of River Power Inc. reached a major milestone in 2005 with the completion of its first, "run of river", Eco Logo certified, hydroelectric generation plant at Brandywine Creek near Whistler, British Columbia. The 7.6 MW plant is currently providing power to over 4,000 homes annually through a 20-year power purchase agreement with BC Hydro.
