About Us

ROR Power develops renewable, sustainable energy through our portfolio of clean energy projects. We help diversify BC’s energy mix by providing a cleaner way to generate power and increasing the security of BC's energy supply. In addition, our projects create jobs and revenue for First Nations and rural BC families.

Our Brandywine Creek run-of-river hydro project, located approximately 12 kilometres south of Whistler, is currently producing green, renewable electricity for approximately 4,000 homes. The 7.6 megawatt (MW) facility has been operational since 2005. This EcoLogo© certified facility produces approximately 34,000 to 38,000 MW of electricity annually – enough to offset approximately 33,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, which is equivalent to eliminating emissions produced by a conventional coal or oil plant providing the same energy output.

In May, 2010, we signed a 40-year Energy Purchase Agreement with BC Hydro for our 25 MW Skookum Creek Project as part of BC Hydro’s 2008 Clean Power Call.

In addition, we have an extensive portfolio of other clean energy development projects in BC and a development team with substantial experience and project execution experience in the renewables energy sector.
