Richard W. Hopp, President and CEO

Mr. Hopp has over 30 years of experience in energy marketing and power development. He has been on the Company’s Board of Directors since April 2006 and has been the Chief Executive Officer since August 2010. Prior to joining the Company’s management team, he was Vice President, Business Development for Elemental Energy Inc. While at Elemental, he was focused on the development of renewable projects and acquisitions in the Western United States. Previous to that, he was a founder and VP Business Development at Mountain Power Inc., which was sold to Exide Technologies in 2008; initial founder and VP Business Development of Maxim Power Corp.; and President of Inland Pacific Energy Services. Mr. Hopp is a technical advisor to Clean Energy BC (formerly the Independent Power Producers Association of British Columbia), and a Director of several other companies in Canada. In his role with Maxim Power, Mr. Hopp was a driving force in the award-winning Vancouver Landfill Gas Utilization Project which gas captured from the City of Vancouver Landfill in Delta and used it to generate heat and electricity for a local vegetable greenhouse.

Khalid Amlani, CA, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Amlani has extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, audit, tax and the public markets. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Amlani worked at a Vancouver-based chartered accounting firm where he provided accounting, assurance and tax advisory services to a wide variety of businesses. Mr. Amlani holds a Bachelor’s of Technology in Accounting with Distinction from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
