Community Commitment

ROR Power believes that the concerns of communities be respected as environmental and economic needs are balanced. To meet our obligations to local communities, we are guided by the following principles: 

•  Enhance the communities we operate in by listening and responding to local needs, providing local employment and improving the local economy.
• Explore with local communities ways in which we can enhance the local environment to best serve the citizens of the area.
• Encourage consultation and two-way communication with local governments, community leaders and special interest groups to establish positive relationships in the development and operation of renewable energy projects.
• Value cultural diversity by establishing strategic economic partnerships with First Nations.
