Northwest Cascade Power Ltd (NWCP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Run of River Power Inc, is proposing to develop seven run of river power projects in the Upper Pitt River watershed, approximately 15 km north of the head of Pitt Lake in the Fraser Valley Regional District. The proposed project will have total capacity of 180 MW and will generate 557 GWh/yr of clean green renewable electricity. These projects will offset between 200,520 – 476,235 tonnes CO2/yr.
